Gorgan Site

Our first project aims to raise funds and organise a re-evaluation of the Gorgan archaeological site located in Vrancea County, Romania. Experimental Archaeology:
Bronze Age Ceramics

At the Bronze Age Necropolis in Câmpina, Prahova County, Romania, over 64 graves have been discovered and an even greater number of ceramic vessels dating over 3000 years. With this project we aim to replicate the techniques of constructing, decorating and firing the types of pottery found here. The ceramic wealth on the site reflects and combines elements associated with Monteoru, Tei and Noua Cultures
